With over 100 club investors, Angel City FC added four key figures to their growing ownership group.The four new investors include NBA Legend Chris Paul, Solina Chau, Ina Coleman, and Paul Bernon.

In their fourth season, the club leads the NWSL in attendance, fan engagement, and revenue as they generated nearly $35 million in 2024.
Additionally, they recorded a record-high valuation of $280 million last year when Bob Iger and Willow Bay agreed to purchase controlling interest in the club, which marks one of the world’s most valuable professional sports teams.
Los Angeles is a key market in both the MLS and the NWSL as LAFC and Angel City FC are the highest valued teams in their leagues.
Although Angel City FC are currently ranked No. 11 out of the 14 teams in the league, these new owners of philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and business oriented individuals align with the club’s mission of building a club that goes beyond soccer.

Since their launch in 2020, the club has grown with over 100 investors that now includes a plethora of individuals from a variety of backgrounds, featuring Billie Jean King.

Angel City FC return to BMO Stadium
Following the hire of head coach Alexander Strauss, the club
The club has been rebuilding their structure as they hired Alexander Strauss at the beginning of the season.
As the third coach in club history, Strauss officially made his debut on Saturday, June 7 as they concluded the home match with a 2-2 draw against the Chicago Red Stars.
With Strauss at the lead, the club has recorded an overall 2-6-4 (wins, losses, draws) record. Their two wins with Strauss were back to back victories at home.
However, following a four-game winless streak, the club will return back home to BMO Stadium where they will host Kansas City FC on Monday, October 6. The match will be hosted on CBSSN and will kickoff at 7:30pm PT/10:30pm ET.
