Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 27–18 on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
With the win, the Packers improved to 3–1–1 on the season after tying with Dallas in Week 4, continuing to build momentum in the NFC North. They now sit second behind the Detroit Lions, thanks to Love and a standout performance from running back Josh Jacobs.
Meanwhile, the Bengals’ struggles continued without Joe Burrow, as Joe Flacco made his first start for Cincinnati following his trade from Cleveland.
Love and Jacobs’ stellar performances drew plenty of praise as the Packers performance impressed NFL fans.
Love threw for 259 yards and one touchdown with one interception, completing 19-of-26 passes and connecting with Tucker Kraft for a score. Jacobs ran for two touchdowns, totaling 150 combined yards on the day.
Flacco battled in his first game with Cincinnati, finishing with 219 yards and two touchdowns while completing 29-of-45 passes. He connected with Ja’Marr Chase for a touchdown who added 94 yards and found Tanner Hudson for another score.
Green Bay will hit the road to face the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday.
