A Paris court will set on Monday the date for Nicolas Sarkozy’s imprisonment after sentencing the former French president to five years for conspiring to finance his 2007 campaign with Libyan funds. Sarkozy, 70, denies wrongdoing, calling the verdict “a scandal” and filing an appeal against it.
