The Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, and Cincinnati Bengals will all be on a bye during Week 10. That means several valuable fantasy players won’t be taking the field, including Ja’Marr Chase and CeeDee Lamb. Let’s hit the waiver wire for some reinforcements. We’ll highlight three wide receivers among our five Week 10 fantasy football sleepers that you should target to help your team.
1. Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants
The Giants will take on the Bears, who have allowed 28.4 points per game. The Bears have given up the eighth-most passing yards per game in the league, which works in Slayton’s favor. Although Slayton has a modest seven receptions for 88 yards over two games since returning from injury, he was targeted 12 times during that span
2. Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars don’t have a great matchup against the Texans, who have allowed the fourth-fewest passing yards per game. However, the Jaguars don’t have many healthy options to throw to right now. Travis Hunter (knee) is on injured reserve and Brian Thomas Jr. emerged from Week 9 with an ankle injury. Washington caught eight of nine targets for 90 yards against the Raiders last week and could see a similar workload in Week 10.
3. Darnell Mooney, WR, Atlanta Falcons
Mooney has surpassed 50 receiving yards in a game just one time this season. The last two games, he has combined for two receptions for 26 yards. As underwhelming as he has been, he’s a sleeper candidate for his upcoming matchup with the Colts. Teams often need to throw a lot against them because the Colts are averaging 32.2 points per game. That has contributed to them giving up the second-most receptions to wide receivers in the league
4. Colston Loveland, TE, Chicago Bears
Loveland made this column last week and came through, catching six of seven targets for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Fellow Bears tight end Cole Kmet left that game with a concussion, so he could be sidelined for a Week 10 matchup with the Giants. That leaves plenty of upside for Loveland again, considering that the Giants have allowed the ninth-most passing yards per game in the league.
5. Dalton Schultz, TE, Houston Texans
C.J. Stroud left Sunday’s game against the Broncos with a concussion. That didn’t stop Schultz from being productive, recording six receptions for 77 yards. He was targeted eight times, marking the fifth time over the last six games that he has received at least six targets. It doesn’t matter if Stroud or Davis Mills is under center for Sunday’s game. Schultz is a viable starting tight end for a matchup against a Jaguars team that has allowed the fifth-most receptions to tight ends in the league.
