For the first time, scientists have used the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) to study the origins of a bizarre, record-breaking radio signal that flashed past Earth earlier this year.Tracking the bright radio burst to the edge of a galaxy some 130 million light-years from Earth, the researchers used JWST’s infrared eye to identify a powerful explosion of energy coming from a large, old star that may be the strange signal’s progenitor. The team also zoomed in on specific stars clustered nearby, painting a picture of the radio burst’s original environment with unprecedented clarity. The findings, described in two papers published…
Of course, creating an interactive experience such as this one has a lot more spinning plates than a typical theater production. As such, planning began well over six months prior to the party, and included bringing in one of the immersive industry’s heavy hitters, Chris Waters of Constructed Adventures. “He never misses. His ideas are spectacular,” says Waters of Harris, who was the one to come up with the concept of framing the event around a wellness cult. “It’s wild how invested he was, considering he was often in another country doing something for work. It was really cool to…

That’s concerning because Parsons has held out of practicing at training camp in order to procure a new deal, and the Cowboys’ NFL season opener at the defending Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles on Sept.…
