Ivory Coast’s Alassane Ouattara was re-elected in a landslide victory on Monday for a fourth presidential term, in a vote that was marked by the lack of credible opposition. The former high-ranking civil servant, who has led the West African country since 2011, has been both lauded for his economic success and accused of being an increasingly authoritarian leader.
